These GIF files were created using photos taken with a smartphone and digitally drawn over and removing the photographic layer. The drawings are then sequenced in a GIF file, presenting an alternative recording of the install at Eastside Projects for the recent Summer Camp 2019.
I am interested in the idea of us all being in perpetual performance, more specifically observed non-verbal communication gestures. I am currently documenting activity through a variety of drawing approaches, and considering ways in which spaces and audience can activate new possibilities.
